Who we are
Chromoworks is run by Namash Aggarwal, a sole trader based in Perth, Western Australia. This notice explains how chromoworks.com handles personal information.

What we collect
- Messages you send us. When you use the contact form: your name, email address, organisation (optional), topic and message, plus the page and language you were using.
- Payments and support. Stripe or Buy Me a Coffee collect your payment details; we never see or store your card number. We receive your name, email address, country, the amount, and the name you chose for the supporters wall, if any.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider records basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to keep the site secure and running. Loading the website's fonts also shares your IP address with Google.
- Preferences on your device. If you change the theme or language, your choice is saved in your own browser so it is remembered next time. It is never sent to us.
We do not use advertising, tracking cookies or analytics, and we never sell or rent your personal information.
How we use it
Only to reply to your message, to process your support, to send the thank-you and progress updates that come with it, to show your name on the supporters wall if you asked for that, and to keep the records the law requires. You can stop the updates at any time by replying to one of them.
Who helps us
A few trusted services handle data on our behalf:
- Stripe
- Payments and memberships
- Buy Me a Coffee
- One-off support
- Web3Forms
- Delivering contact form messages
- Our inbox (Gmail) and the website's fonts
- Vercel
- Website hosting
Some of them store data outside Australia, for example in the United States or the European Union, under their own privacy and security commitments.
How long we keep it
Messages are kept for as long as the conversation needs, and deleted on request. Payment records are kept for five years, as Australian tax law requires. Names on the supporters wall stay until you ask us to remove them.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to show, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email us and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) or, in Europe, your local data protection authority.
